Shiny, reddish purple leaves emerge in early spring, turning to deep green in summer, changing once again in fall to a gorgeous shiny, REDDISH BRONZE! Leaves then fall cleanly and completely in mid fall. Acorns are about 1 1 4" in diameter & are a favorite of wildlife. Distinguish Nuttall from Overcup oak, another native, by
