Virovai, Robert. (b. 1921) Signed PhotographA beautiful original 8 X 10 inch glossy photograph, in very fine condition and boldly signed by the celebrated Yugoslav Hungarian violinist. A pupil of Jeno Hubay in Budapest, the great pedagogue said that "young Virovai plays so beautifully as to astonish even me." (Time Magazine, 11 14 38) Virovai signed the present photograph in 1940, two years after his U. S. debut with the New York Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall on November 3, 1938.
