Original brown wrappers, reinforced at spine. In very good condition. The one act opera was first publicly performed at the Opra Comique on 19th May, 1911 in a double bill with Massenet's "Therese. One contemporary critic panned it as a "pornographic vaudeville" (Gaston Carrud in La Libert), but A. E. F. Dickinson has described it as a "song in praise of the human body."
