Vintage 1940s Norwegian Pale Blue Guilloche Enamel Silver BroochVintage 1940s brooch featuring a modernist pale blue guilloche set in silver gilt. On the back of the brooch there are a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was made by Albert Scharning from sterling silver. Albert Scharning was a silversmith from Oslo, Norway. His pieces date from the 1930's 1950's. The brooch secures with an open 'c' clasp. Silver gilt is a term used for laying gold over silver. Guilloche enamelling is a decorative process
