Moniot-Nié, Santenay rouge 2018The Santenay from Moniot Ni's plots in this southern appellation of the Cte de Beaune has intense, luminous red colour. This concentration is matched by complex aromas suggestive of violets and coffee as well as generous berry fruit. It's a relatively powerful wine, with assertive flavours and sustained tannins, and makes a terrific accompaniment to roasts and stews. At the same time it's delicate enough to complement rather than overwhelm a selection
