Weingut Rudi Rüttger, Spätburgunder Reserve 2022This is a refreshing light red that even with barrel ageing displays lightness, subtlety, and layered nuances. Although it's not too heavy, and the emphasis is on the lovely fruit, this is still a serious, well made Sptburgunder (Pinot Noir) with hints of spice, and a style that makes it very attractive on its own as well as a versatile companion for all kinds of food.
