Schmedes, Hakon. (1877 - 1938) Autograph Musical QuotationBoldly penned AMQS from the Danish violinist and composer. On an album page dated April 4, 1903 and measuring 12 x 17. 5 cm. A student of Anton Svendsen, Schmedes was second violinist in Jacques Thibaud's quartet in Paris from 1902 1904 before joining the Boston Symphony. His brother was the noted tenor, Erik Schmedes.
