2014 Chateau La VioletteABOUT THE WINE A micro cuve from a tiny 1. 6 hectare parcel of Merlot on the Pomerol plateau, close to Vieux Chteau Certan and Le Pin. 2014 was the first vintage fully micro vinified in the estates new cellar, allowing precision small lot fermentations before levage of around 15 months in predominantly new French oak (Saury). The result is a deeply refined, site expressive Pomerol at 13. 5% ABV, marrying concentration with freshness. TASTING NOTES
